Dr. Claudia Natanson is a highly respected digital and cyber security transformation expert and thought leader within the international arena and AccuWeather’s Vice President of Information Security. She works within the Information Technology group. Her experience and expertise covers diverse industry sectors, FTSE 100, Fortune 500, government and growing organizations.

She is responsible for leading strategy, administration, and operations within a broad information security and digital program, reporting to AccuWeather Chief Operating Officer Oliver Knowlton.

In 2022, Dr. Natanson was Honored by Queen Elizabeth II with a Member of the British Empire Award (MBE) bestowed in conjunction withthe Queen’s Jubilee celebration, for her outstanding contributions to the field of cyber security. The distinction is the third highest ranking of the Order of the British Empire award. She was also recognized as a top technology influencer by London’s Financial Times, one of Security Magazine’s “2022 Top Cyber Security Leaders" and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the UK Cyber Security Council.

Previously, Dr. Natanson has held positions at Aramark, CSO at UK’s government DWP, MD at BT Secure Business Services, CISO at Diageoand has been appointed Chair for the government’s UK Cyber Security Council. A European Commission security expert she has served as board, steering committee member and Programme Chair for the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST).
