About Kurt

Kurt Fulepp is President, Digital at AccuWeather. In this key leadership role, he is responsible for leading all aspects of AccuWeather's digital offerings including full product and business oversight of AccuWeather’s flagship mobile apps, website, connected technologies and media content including the AccuWeather network. Most recently, Fulepp served as AccuWeather's Chief Product Officer where he led the vision, strategy, design and development for the company-wide product portfolio.

Before joining AccuWeather, Fulepp served as Vice President and Digital General Manager of News and Business at Time, Inc leading the digital brands of TIME, Money and Fortune. Previously, he was Vice President and Head of Product at AOL, Inc., where he oversaw product management, technology and design of AOL's core business of AOL.com, as well as a portfolio of lifestyle brands focused on home, food, style and weddings. Concurrent with his AOL tenure, Fulepp also served as General Manager of MAKERS.com, providing end-to-end leadership for this first-of-its-kind multi-platform video destination, which profiled exceptional women and their groundbreaking achievements.

 

Earlier in his career, Fulepp served as Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing for NineMSN (Microsoft's joint-venture in Australia) covering Bing, MSN and Windows Live (including Hotmail, SkyDrive and WebApps), as well as Director of Marketing at Nine Television Network Australia: one of Australia's largest commercial television networks. Fulepp is also an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Publishing - Digital Media program at New York University, teaching a full semester course that examines the various business models in digital media and what it takes to build a successful digital publishing business.

 

Fulepp resides in New York City and is based at AccuWeather's New York office.
